For Portals, we approached the project with the scale and structure of a feature film, building an immersive visual world to support the album’s layered themes. Working closely with Melanie Martinez and her creative collaborators, we executed a series of highly stylized music videos blending practical sets, creature design, and cinematic techniques. From extended soundstage builds to controlled, fantastical environments, every element was crafted to serve the story. The execution focused on world-building and visual continuity, allowing each piece to stand alone while contributing to a cohesive visual album.
